The purple silks were appropriate given the stable’s current form, as debutant NEVER GIVE UP brought up a third winner from our last five runners.
Following wins earlier this week for SACRED MISSION (Ipswich) and HE’S THE ULTIMATE (Doomben), NEVER GIVE UP put in a dynamic debut performance at the Sunshine Coast under Kyle Wilson-Taylor.
The young rider had the 3YO well-positioned throughout, and when he pressed the button NEVER GIVE UP put his rivals away in a matter of strides.
The two-length win followed an impressive trial performance the previous month, and whilst he’s still open to plenty of improvement the son of Heroic Valour has clearly got talent.
