JIMMY GIVES THEM THE SLIP

ree

SLIPPIN’ JIMMY added a seventh career victory to his impressive resume with an all-the-way victory at Doomben on Saturday.

Taking bad luck out of the equation, apprentice Jace McMurray took the son of Pariah straight to the front and he was never headed, fighting off his rivals to score by 1.7 lengths.

The win extended SLIPPIN’ JIMMY’s record to seven wins and four minor placings from 15 starts with career prizemoney earnings of over $460,000.

“It was great to get the win, he obviously deserved it,” said McMurray

“He’s a model of consistency and always turn up to the races and does his job.

“We had a few favours in the lead and he’s a fit and tough horse so he fought to the line.”

The win continued the stable’s strong start to the new racing season with five winners and seven placings from our first 20 starters at a winning strike rate of 25 per cent.
