IT'S SUNDAY FUN DAY FOR EASY LOVE

ree

EASY LOVE swept to her second career win with a determined display at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday.

Given a well-judged front running ride by Jag Guthmann-Chester, the consistent mare led from pillar to post in the Class 1 Plate (1800m).

Having finished in the placings at both her previous starts in the city, the daughter of Love Conquers All dropped in grade and her class told with a two-length win which carried her earnings to $84,700.

“I didn’t go out there with a set gameplan after we drew wide,” said Guthmann-Chester.

“But I always wanted to be positive on her because the track was playing on-speed. Once we found the front she got into a lovely rhythm and travelled really well for me.

“I thought it would take a good one to catch her because she was moving so well. I just let her quicken up at the top of the straight, and in the end it was a nice comfortable win.”

Many congratulations to the On Track Racing team and all her owners: Mr D J Bates, Mrs M D Bates, Ms J Cai, Mr R A Modin, F R F Racing, Mr A B Stubbs, Mr P R McGavin, Mr P E Kitching, Mr R J Harvey, Mr L S Daley, Mrs G Harvey, Mr D Verryckt, Mr D M White, Mrs M Lindemann, Thuzz Park Racing, Mr J H Slorach, Mr M L Brookes and Mr B M Mannion.
